1. Your agreement with Talia

The Talia Developer API provides programmatic access to watch price information for authorised business integrations. The company registering for access is responsible for its account and authorised users. Anyone accepting terms on its behalf must have authority to bind that company.

The portal records acceptance of the configured agreement version. Registration, email verification and two-factor authentication establish your developer account; paid API access also requires an active, paid API licence. Creating an account does not itself start a paid subscription.

02

2. Licence and permitted use

API access is subject to the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence in the Master Services Agreement and the scope of your agreed integration. Talia retains its intellectual property rights in the service, API, documentation and price intelligence.

  • Use the provided API for your authorised business purposes and comply with applicable law.
  • Resale, sublicensing, redistribution or third-party access outside your agreed use requires Talia’s authorisation.
  • Do not share credentials between companies, bypass access controls or limits, or attempt unauthorised access to other accounts or data.
  • Do not scrape the application as an alternative to the provided API, or use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or malicious activity.
03

3. Account and API key security

Keep passwords, API keys, authenticator setup keys and recovery codes confidential. Use API keys from a trusted server environment; do not place them in browser code, public repositories or shared URLs. You are responsible for activity performed through your company’s credentials.

The portal supports Authy, Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator. Sensitive account actions require a recent identity check. Revoke keys that are no longer required or may have been exposed, and contact help@taliaai.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

04

4. Monthly licence and pricing

The standard API licence costs £1,000 per subscription month, charged in advance. Billable usage is additional and is charged monthly in arrears. The licence does not include free queries. All amounts below are in GBP, excluding any applicable taxes.

Progressive usage charges within each subscription month
Billable queriesPrice per query
First 1,000£1.00
1,001–10,000£0.50
10,001–50,000£0.25
Above 50,000Custom contract

The tiers are graduated. Each rate applies only to the queries within that tier. Reaching a higher tier does not reprice earlier queries.

Monthly examples, including the licence

  • 1,000 queries: £2,000. £1,000 licence + 1,000 × £1.
  • 10,000 queries: £6,500. £1,000 licence + 1,000 × £1 + 9,000 × £0.50.
  • 50,000 queries: £16,500. £1,000 licence + 1,000 × £1 + 9,000 × £0.50 + 40,000 × £0.25.

A separately agreed custom contract may specify different pricing or limits. Contact Talia before exceeding the standard monthly allowance.

5. How usage is counted

A billable query is one available watch price successfully returned by the price API. In a batch, each available price is a separate billable unit: a request returning 50 available prices counts as 50 billable queries.

Catalogue searches, usage reads, errors and unavailable prices do not incur a usage charge. A valid idempotent replay returns the previous result without adding another usage charge. Sending the request again without a valid idempotency key can create a new billable query.

Usage is combined across your company’s API keys and follows your subscription billing period, which may differ from a calendar month. The portal shows monthly billable queries and accrued usage charges. Previous free test usage is not converted into paid usage.

06

6. Usage limits and availability

The standard subscription supports up to 50,000 billable queries per subscription month. Further billable price requests require a custom contract. The API also applies request limits shared across company keys; the defaults are 60 requests per minute and 10,000 requests per day. Your account’s configured limits are shown in the portal.

A batch can contain up to 50 watches. It counts as one request towards request limits, while each available price counts separately towards billable usage. Handle rate-limit responses and retry instructions in your integration.

Service availability and support are governed by the Master Services Agreement. The standard service does not include a guaranteed uptime or response-time commitment.

07

7. Payments, renewal and cancellation

To start the standard paid subscription, review the tariff in the developer portal and complete Stripe Checkout. API access is enabled after the licence payment is confirmed. The subscription renews monthly.

The billing portal lets you update payment details, view invoices and request cancellation at the end of the current subscription period. Check the effective cancellation date shown there. Cancellation does not remove charges already accrued during the subscription period.

An inactive, unpaid or suspended subscription cannot make billable price requests. For billing questions, disputed charges, a custom agreement or restarting a fully cancelled subscription, contact Talia. Payment, refund and termination rights are set out in the Master Services Agreement and your applicable Order Form.

08

8. Data and price information

Watch prices and estimates are provided for information. Check the returned reference, year, variant and price status before using a result. A price is not a guaranteed sale value or a commitment to buy or sell a watch. You remain responsible for verifying outputs and for decisions made using them.

Talia processes account, usage, billing and security information to operate the API and manage access. Read the Privacy Policy and the data protection provisions in the Master Services Agreement for the applicable treatment of personal and customer data.

09

9. Support and full agreement

For developer support, billing questions and larger-volume contracts, email help@taliaai.com. API documentation and account controls are available in the developer portal.

The full agreement covers matters including confidentiality, intellectual property, warranties, liability, disputes and governing law. This service summary does not replace or amend that agreement.
